Although this is a hard time it is important to do these things:

  1. REQUEST MEDICAL RECORDS FROM THE VISIT

(MAKE SURE WHAT YOU GOT IS WHAT YOU NEED MEDICAL RECORDS FROMTHAT DAY’S VISIT )

  2. SEEK A SECOND OPINION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

  3. GATHER PHOTOS AND VIDEO OF YOUR PETS CONDITION BEFORE DURING AND AFTER

  4. DOCUMENT WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING (get those notarized)

  5. IF YOU HAVE WITNESSES HAVE THEM WRITE A STATEMENT (get those notarized)

  6. CONTACT A LAWYER many lawyers in California will not take the case or give you much time unless you pay but still try

  7. FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE VMB (Veterinary medical board of California) https://www.vmb.ca.gov/
